Review INDIAN 1970s Installed Fuel Tank Donot fits ENDURO

The 1970s Fuel Tank Enduro Don't is a vintage motorcycle accessory that exudes an aura of classic charm and rugged durability. This fuel tank, hailing from the golden era of off-road racing, boasts a unique design that perfectly blends function with style.

Crafted from high-quality steel, this tank boasts a robust construction that can withstand the rigors of off-road racing. Its 1970s aesthetics are instantly recognizable, with distinct flat panels and a minimalist shape that allows for maximum maneuverability on rough terrains. The tank features a capacious 12-liter fuel capacity, ensuring that you can cover long distances without needing to refuel too often.

The Enduro Don't fuel tank is equipped with a reliable fuel petcock, which allows for easy fuel flow management. The petcock is located at the bottom of the tank, making it easily accessible for refueling and maintenance. The tank also comes with a vent cap, which helps prevent fuel vapor build-up and ensures a consistent fuel supply.

The Enduro Don't fuel tank is designed to fit most 1970s enduro motorcycles, making it a versatile addition to any classic off-road bike collection. It is finished in a classic gloss black, which not only looks great but also helps protect the tank from the elements.

In conclusion, the 1970s Fuel Tank Enduro Don't is more than just a tank. It's a symbol of a bygone era, a testament to the spirit of adventure, and a reliable companion for your off-road adventures. If you're a classic motorcycle enthusiast or a dedicated enduro racer, this tank is a must-have addition to your collection.

Pros of buying a 1970s fuel tank enduro:

1. Vintage appeal: If you're a fan of classic motorcycles, the 1970s enduro's retro design and nostalgic charm can be quite appealing.

2. Unique: These bikes are not common, which can make for a unique and distinctive addition to your garage.

3. Affordable: Compared to newer models, 1970s enduros are often more affordable, making them a good option for those on a budget.

4. Simple mechanics: They have fewer electronic components, which can make them easier to maintain and repair yourself.

Cons of buying a 1970s fuel tank enduro:

1. Reliability and performance issues: Older bikes can have various problems, such as poor fuel efficiency, unreliable starting, and lackluster performance.

2. Safety concerns: Older models may not have the same safety features as newer ones, such as ABS brakes, airbags, and modern suspension systems.

3. Limited parts availability: It can be challenging to find replacement parts for older bikes, as manufacturers may no longer produce them or they may be expensive.

4. Not suitable for long-distance commuting: The 1970s enduro is designed for off-road use and may not be comfortable or suitable for long-distance commuting on paved roads.

In conclusion, buying a 1970s fuel tank enduro can be a fun and rewarding experience if you're a classic motorcycle enthusiast, but it comes with its own set of challenges. The bike may require more maintenance, have performance issues, and may not be suitable for daily commuting. If you're willing to invest the time and resources into keeping the bike in good condition, it can be a unique and affordable option. However, if you prioritize reliability, comfort, and modern features, you may want to consider a newer model.

Details:

This is a brand new, never installed gas tank that in very good condition for over 40 years old. This is an excellent tank for restoration of those small Indians. The fuel opening has been taped shut since it was new to prevent interior rust.

The paint has some scratches in it, and one very small ding on edge of side. This is an original Indian gas tank for the late 1960s and early 1970s small bike such as Enduro, etc that were marketed under name. There are pictures with the tape on and a couple off.

It is very light and should need only a cleaning before installation. The finish inside is also very good, with only a light surface rust on some portions of insides tank.
