Notice the last few pictures show it disassembled, showing surface rust and pitting on bottom. The off-white colored metal top was with it but not attached when found, and I am certain if the is original. It was found with some other vintage Harley parts at an estate sale. Also shown is what was left of the original diaphragm.
The threads on the bottom where oil line screws are in excellent condition. All surface rust was removed, and new replacement diaphragm, on/off decal, spring were installed reassembled. This is a prewar Harley-Davidson 1936-1937 Knucklehead Flathead Oil Pressure Gauge.
