The only thing wrong that I can find is during its decades and in storage, a small amount of dust has migrated to inside surface lens.
Another amazing part emerging from well over 20 years in storage. From various discussions it sounds like this ammeter was used on Norton, triumph, BSA, matchless, or SA British motorcycles the 40s and 50s.
It is otherwise like the day was made. You only pay the actual shipping cost for package dimensions weight shown below. It emerged from its original box and paper wrapping for the first time ever recently photos.
This is a gorgeous vintage Lucas 8-amp ammeter. This is also a vintage electrical part so being sold as-is. I wish had something to put this in or would keep it a heartbeat.
