This transmission is so clean that its easy to believe it may have never been run. There is assembly gear oil in case, and old grease that still visible on counter sprocket clutch release arm. Whats not included, No clutch release rod, kicker arm or pedal, pressure plate springs, Recommendations, Needs new top cover gasket, I would run this transmission in its current condition. The clutch hub parts do show normal wear but appear to be all in good condition.
Transmission shifts smoothly, kicker gears functioning properly. Possibly from NOS parts storage division. 1938 to 1940 Harley Flathead 45 WL WR Transmission 2-Bolt Gearbox w/Clutch Assay. Maybe surplus parts produced late.

There is no visible wear on any components, marks or damage to case machined surfaces. 121-38, Date coded 1942, not sure why because two bolt frames ended in 1941.
